At Thursday's meeting of the Mid-Winter Survivors Party Planning Committee, it was learned that the original date would no longer work for members of the Committee, so the suggestion of moving it up one week to Feb. 2nd was offered. As the committee was evaluating the new date, the committee made a unanimous choice of the Feb. 2nd date just as soon as the members were reminded that Feb. 2nd is Ground Hog's Day.
It was the decision of the committee to utilize the Ground Hog as an additional reason "to party" and to use the likeness of the Ground Hog in publicity for this year's gathering. The times will remain the same--4 pm to 6:30 pm and the location will be --Koinonia, the same as last year. The Committee is deciding on whether to do a pizza party or to do a buffet of pizza, wings, salad, cake, coffee, tea, hot cocoa and unlimited juices, put on by the Koinonia staff.
