In what normally would have been a quiet, sunny and 32-degree "winter's'' morning was brought to life high overhead on Perry Ave. as utility subcontractors went about their work of cutting out dead wood from trees along the southern half of Perry Ave., blocking one lane of "early" morning traffic. Come to think of it, we haven't had a power interruption lately. I wonder if power interruptions are just warm weather events around Silver Lake ....
