Since the Perry Community Band plays only two concerts in a calendar year, members of the community eagerly await both the Spring and the Christmas concerts. Tonight is the annual Christmas Concert at 7 pm performed at the Perry First United Methodist Church, 35 Covington St., corner of Short St. (one block east of Main St.) We have no details on the program for this year but can assure you--based on past concerts--that you will be put in the height of the spirit of the season both during and after you take in this delightful and inspirational concert with Jessie Barth conducting. It draws a crowd, so plan to arrive early.
