Alternating Light to Medium Snow Falling at 9:25 am; Lake Thawing

While the forecast is for snow today, heavy at times, the temperature at mid morning is 32 degrees and the high should reach 40 degrees, meaning the snow will turn wetter and eventually to rain if the precipitation continues which it may not. Low tonight will be 33 degrees and a high Friday of 43 degrees. As of yesterday, it appears that the Lake may have as much as a 50% thaw in the two-thirds reported recently as "frozen lake," and will continue its thaw with this above normal temperatures.
