Light Snow Opens the Holiday Week; Thanksgiving Forecast as Coldest Day

The snow that is falling this mid afternoon on Sunday is barely affecting visibility which is why it could even be considered picturesque. It seems to be cleaning up the dark spots in the plowed and shoveled snow areas but has yet to begin accumulation on the roads. Temperatures have been and continue to be below seasonal norms for November which should be in the 40s. Instead, daytime temps have consistently been in the 30s with some overnights in the 20s. Thanksgiving was originally forecast as being part of a warming trend which is no longer true. The latest forecast has the week remaining in the 30s and Thanksgiving Day failing to rise out of the 20s.
