In Memoriam

RICHARD DAVIDSON
June 30, 1933 - August 24, 2018

A Memorial Service will be held for Richard Davidson on November 10, 2018 at 10:30 AM, at Faith-Lancaster United Methodist Church, 5505 Broadway, Lancaster, N.Y. Lancaster, N.Y. with hospitality following at noon in Fellowship Hall. Richard, 85, died August 24, 2018, and was the beloved husband of 62 years to Shirley M. (nee Davies) Davidson; devoted father of Cheri (Jeff) Ludwick, Deb (Paul) Wohlers, and Tom (Kim) Davidson; loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; dear brother of the late Donald (late Louisa) Davidson; brother-in-law of Beverly Davies; also survived by nieces and nephews. Mr. Davidson was a retired 8th grade Science Teacher at the Aurora Middle School and was well known in the WNY Annual Conference. His wife, Shirley, had a dynamic children's ministry in clowning and puppetry as a lay person before entering the ordained ministry. She has been retired for a number of years now.
