Color Remains on TreesAway from the Lake Shore

Photo above is from one of the Institute's nut trees that show how determined they are to hang on to their color. Will it make it to Thanksgiving? (Photos taken mid afternoon on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018.)

Some areas of fallen snow are be-speckled with downed leaves while areas of plowed or shoveled snow show heavier concentrations of  leaves and elements of soil.

The winds off the Lake have a tendency of stripping the trees and keeping many of their leaves moving up and away from the Greenway. (Courtesy of SLI.)
