Tuesday, October 2 Begins
With 7 am Thundershower

In the darkness of the 7 am hour came the flashes of light brought about by the electrical action of lightening followed by rolls of thunder and the splashes of a downpour. Although it lasted around 10 minutes, it has initiated what the forecast calls for which is a total rainy day. Sporadic Fog has been reported but is definitely not wide spread.

UPDATE 1: The sun partially broke through the clouds at 11:49 am for the first time today.
UPDATE 2: Shortly after 4 pm, the sky drew very dark and the first roll of thunder occurred at 4:11 pm. Rain started at 4:19 pm; after one downpour, it stopped.

EDITOR'S NOTE: While some may wonder about the contents of this newsletter-blog and might even consider it to be "not interesting," it should be kept in mind that we strive not only to be helpful and interesting to year-round residents, we also attempt to please the summer residents who miss being at the Institute and appreciate some of the details that we who live here all the time take for granted. We continue to listen to all opinions received. Those who go into more detail in their opinion, can be assured of our greater understanding of your ideas and opinions.
