SLA Last Meeting of the
Season Busy and Productive

The Silver Lake Association's Water Quality Committee finished up the planting prep work for 360 plants in a tributary off Smith Road on Friday, October 19th. SLA and the community expresses its appreciation for the great work of the dedicated volunteers. Special thanks goes to Elitsac for the use of their equipment for the project.

The Water Quality Committee are still looking for green thumbs to assist with this project. Contact the SLA if you are interested in helping. Photos are available to view at: http://silverlakeassociation-wny.org/

New ways to reach out and communicate with different means of social media  (instagram, twitter, etc.) was discussed by the 22 in attendance at the October meeting. Other topics included thinking about the next nominations for the Home Owner of Distinction Award, the Village of Perry Beach survey, the lake wide yard sale in the SL Institute, and next year's Triathlon.
