2019 will be the Third Silver Lake Experience; Preparations Right on Schedule including Nightly Concerts

The SLE planing committee is not ready yet to release any of the current plans, workshops, or concerts. Yet planners are excited enough about the prospects of this four-day "mini-Chautauqua" event taking place August 8-11, 2019, they just had to remind you to mark your calendars and hold open the dates for a tremendous opportunity of learning, entertainment, fellowship, free time experiences and special events and workshops created specifically for families with children of all ages.

The four-day event is made possible through the experienced and combined efforts of the Silver Lake Institute and the Asbury Retreat Center. All of the buildings on both campuses will be in use for the event. In addition, Bishop Burt Park will be another location for workshops and events "under the tent." Ames Walkway will be solely available to walkers as they travel between the Hoag, Stoody, and Park areas to and from Epworth Hall and the Retreat Center without having to battle motorized traffic (except when crossing Chapman Road). More transportation will be offered during the SLE between Epworth and the Retreat Center.

Be watching the SLE web site for when the 2019 workshops and schedules get posted -- www.silverlakexperience.org
