Look at that Blue Sky,
But Don't Be Fooled

Within just a few short minutes of Julie Hoffner's getting up to speak, there must have been a rain cloud directly above us because a light rain began to fall. Julie was half way through when most of the people decided it was not going to stop soon enough, so some headed for home while most headed for Hoag Gallery where they heard Julie finish and heard Joanne Brocklehurst give a summary of her presentation. The hot dogs, ice cream, and fellowship was enjoyed as we dried out and as the rain finished up before we left.

The Brocklehurst Family at SLI
On Sunday morning when the Closing Service was rained upon on the Dock and the people retreated to Hoag Gallery to finish up, Joanne Brocklehurst summarized her historical comments. Therefore it has been decided to provide our resident readers with the full text of her written version of what you would have heard had the rain and the retreat to Hoag not taken place. It is located in the password section of this Newsletter-Blog.

The Hoffner Family at SLI
The written text of Julie Hoffner's presentation is printed just prior to the Brocklehurst Family history in the password section.
