As part of our Closing Worship Service which is always open to the public, we feature three residents of the Institute speaking of their recollections of fond and precious memories from past years and what the summer experience has meant to them throughout the years. This takes the place of the regular sermon and guest speaker. The three resident speakers this year are: Frederick Schuknecht, Julia Hoffner, and (the Rev.) Joanne Brocklehurst. The Rev. Greg Franklin will serve as the Worship Leader and Fred Nobbs and Tom Kraft will be the Song Leaders. Come and enjoy the music and memories at lakeside. (Rain location is Epworth Hall.)
The Adult Wheels Parade will take place at 1:00 pm beginning at the SLI Dock. Decorate your wheels and join the fun for this closing event.
