This week Saturday will be the first full Board meeting for 2018. The scheduled April meeting had to be cancelled because of a serious ice threat being forecast for all of Western New York earlier this month. This Saturday's May meeting becomes all the more important since it covers actions and concerns covering the period from last October through this current month of April.
Forecasters have this week's temperatures reaching 77 by Wednesday but have Saturday and Sunday coming in at 63 and 61 degrees respectively. The normal meeting place for the regular May meeting would be Hoag Gallery. If we hear otherwise, we will post it for you.
The meeting is still scheduled for the time period of 10 am to 12 Noon, so both the Board and visitors will be challenged to accomplish the most in the least amount of time. There are just eight weeks remaining before the opening of the 2018 Season and residents are welcome as visitors to these monthly meetings.
