FROM LATE TUESDAY NIGHT 
THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING...


The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a High Wind Watch, which is in effect from late Tuesday night through Wednesday evening.



* LOCATIONS...Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Erie, Genesee, Wyomingand Chautauqua counties.



* TIMING...From overnight Tuesday night through early Wednesday evening.



* WINDS...West 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.



* IMPACTS...Strong to potentially damaging winds will be possible and could bring down trees and power lines, resulting in scattered power outages. Travel may also become hazardous for high profile vehicles.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Strong winds of 58 mph or greater could produce property damage, including downed trees and power lines that could result in power outages. Home owners should secure personal property.
