...AN AREA OF MODERATE SNOW WILL AFFECT WYOMING... CATTARAUGUS... ERIE... NIAGARA... ORLEANS... EASTERN CHAUTAUQUA... WESTERN ALLEGANY AND WESTERN GENESEE COUNTIES...
A broad band of moderate snow will continue across much of Western New York through this evening. Visibility will be reduced to a half mile or less at times, with winds gusting to 30 mph. Expect additional accumulations of up to an inch through 8 PM.
Roads will become slushy and slippery in some locations. Motorists should use caution and be alert for deteriorating travel conditions.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 90 between exits 58 and 48.
Interstate 86 between exits 11 and 29.
Interstate 190 and 290.
Route 219 and Route 400.
Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be prepared for slush covered roads. Slow down and allow extra time when traveling.
