Lake North End has Open Water, Still Apparently Frozen Mid-Way to South

Ice fishermen were a very common sight this year out on the frozen Lake and the season was prolonged by snowy, cold weather into April. The northern section of the Lake is thawed as open water is clearly visible, but the thickness of the ice from about mid-way through to the South End is not known and presumed tenuous.
