6 PM TUESDAY TO 2 AM EDT THURSDAY...


* WHAT... Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumula-tions of 5 to 8 inches for lower elevations, and 8 to 14 inches across higher terrain are expected.

* WHERE... Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie counties. Greatest snow amounts across higher terrain.

* WHEN... From 6 PM Tuesday to 2 AM EDT Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... Plan on difficult travel conditions at times with snow covered roads and reduced visibility. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow, mainly in open areas.

PRECAUTIONARY / PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Periods of snow and blowing snow will result in snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving.
