Aftermath: Very Heavy Snow becomes Harder, Heavier as Temperature Drops

Overnight, temperatures were in the 20s causing a heavy, water logged snow to freeze up even harder than before. The orange cylinder in the center of the photo above is a traffic cone sitting on a tree stump. This snow-walled walkway is from the street to my front door. The Dodge Durango is still less than a vehicle's length away from the street and barricaded by several feet of both plowed and uncleared snow. My house guest is still stuck at an East Coast airport waiting to get out.
