This News Blog -- MySilverLakeConnection.blogspot.com -- will take an approximately seven-week partial hiatus beginning Thursday, March 1st and running through April 14th, at which time the Blog will publish the unofficial bullet points of the April 14th meeting and the October 2017 Minutes as they are approved on April 14th. Why unofficial bullet points? Because the Board's Minutes of the April meeting won't become official until they are approved at the May meeting. We will be as concise as possible in our reporting of the meeting.
At the present time, no new daily news posts are planned for between Board meetings with the exception of unexpected and/or significant news developments. Significant news includes requests from the leadership of the Trustee Board to print notices of theirs. Death notices concerning the Institute and from the Lake community will also be posted as rapidly as the information becomes available to us.
The site will continue to be open 24/7 so all pages of the site listed in the Menu, including the Event Calendar, Obituaries and other notices and reminders will be available. This includes the AccuWeather forecasts and radar, the ABC News Headlines, and the Fox Sports Headlines which are RSS feeds which are automatically posted by their sources.
