Last word on the 12 Days of Christmas . . . "Twelfth Night" traditionally occurs on the night before the 12th Day. It's a long and somewhat confusing story, but if you think of it as being similar to Christmas Day and Christmas Eve. (Traditionally, Jesus was said to be born on Christmas Eve and his birth is celebrated the next day.) The Magi are said to have arrived on 12th Night and the celebration is the next day which is known as Epiphany and dynamically observed by the Hispanic community in terms of exchanging gifts.
