Letchworth's Geyser is Performing for Visitors this Year, Courtesy of the Recent, Extended Bitter Cold

2018 Letchworth State Park, just a few minutes from Silver Lake Institute, has a beautiful year-round fountain. In winter when the temperatures are very low for an extended period of time, the fountain turns into an ice geyser, as you see above. Park Rangers say the last five feet of the ice structure was brought about just within the last few days.
