A rainy couple of days provided for a more rapid January melt clearing out most of the snow except for the largest of plowed up snow piles. Silver Lake seems to have been sparred the forecast freezing rain since at one point we were receiving the last of the rain while the first of the snow flakes were arriving. Temperatures dipped into the low teens. The 1:54 pm Saturday temperature for the entire Lake shore is 10 degrees F.
