If you previously marked your calendar for January 20th being our first Mid-Winter Survivors' Party, for year-round residents and friends, you remain right on target. One week from this Saturday at 4:00 pm, we will gather at the Koinonia Inn main floor dining room for a very informal get-together of table games, cards, and most importantly, for others, great conversation and stories about bitter cold, frozen water pipes and body parts!
Along with a change in location, there will also be a change in pizza preparation. Instead of making our own pizzas, we will be ordering in from Darryl's Pizzeria and asking everyone who can afford to make a donation toward the pizza and drinks, to plan to do that when we gather. Other than the availability of games, talk of winter survival is the main happening--and what a winter it has been!!
We want to have the pizzas ordered before you arrive, so your RSVP is essential. Give Chaplain Greg a call or email with the number of persons coming with you, so we will have adequate party pizzas on hand. Use this contact information for Ch. Greg: greg@silverlakeinstitute.org or phone (585) 483-8603 and give him a call as early as possible. We are excited and eager to see you!
