As of Jan.16, 11 RSVPs, 1 'Maybe,'
8 More Expressing Interest in
Mid-Winter Survivors' Party

By the end of the day Tuesday, it became apparent that responses from those year-rounder residents planning to attend this Saturday's Mid-Winter Survivors' Party, continued to increase in numbers. The Planning Committee is pleased with the growing number of RSVPs and the positive comments of those who wish they be attending but having other prior commitments preventing it.

The Committee knew from the beginning, having had several fun dinner meetings to prepare for the Party, that even if no additional people signed up, the committee itself was going to have another fun time together! Every additional friend signing up continues to make it even better than we could have hoped for. The pizza will be fun, the conversations will be fun, the winter stories will be fun, and the many options for table games and cards, will top off the evening. Activities will be spontaneous.

Now that the weather appears to be a combination of sunshine and clouds without rain or snow, will provide ideal conditions for even walking over to the Koinonia Inn, though cars are always well accommodated with their very adequate parking lot. The usual variety of Koinonia drinks will be available--two types of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruit juices and cold water. Ice Cream is being considered as dessert. There will also be one gluten-free pizza available.

RSVPs will be accepted through Thursday at 5 pm so orders can be placed and preparations finalized.
