Board Approves $125,150.00 Budget for 2018; Similar to Last Year's Financial Plan; Tree Fund Bolstered

With this year's operating income up with all bills paid, and this year's investment funds giving a return of over 9%, the spirit of the budget debate was also up. Actually, there was very little debate. Most of the conversation evolved around questions for clarification. 

There was clarifications given by Worship Chair Don Weaver. The reason for a higher 2018 budget figure was to reflect the actual costs which have been previously donated and parts of which might still be donated, although the 2018 Budget seems well equipped to cover them.

Another alteration involved moving $900 from the Dumpster Fund over to the Tree Fund since there is such a big need for dealing with potentially dangerous trees at this point. The 2018 Budget was ultimately passed unanimously in what seemed to be record time.
