Dear Silver Lake Experience,
I would LOVE to attend this fabulous event, but my 12-year-old grandson and my 78-year-old mother will be visiting me on Thursday, August 10th. Help!
Signed,
Caught in the Middle
Dear Caught,
No worries! We offer something for everyone! On Thursday, August 10th, we bet that your grandson will enjoy “Flint Knapping” with Tom Pedlow in the morning, then “Puppetry” with Josh Rice in the afternoon. Your mom will love “Ageless Spirit” with Barbara Bruce in the morning, then she can bring some of those old lithographs she has in the attic to “Understanding Prints” with Penn State’s Dr. Patrick McGrady, followed by an informal “porch chat” with Dr. McGrady. All three of you can enjoy continental breakfast, a full luncheon, dinner on your own (Asbury Retreat Center has a great deal available—or walk up to the Charcoal Corral), dessert from the Glen Iris Inn, then the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra’s Brass Quintet concert! All of this — workshops, breakfast, lunch, evening dessert and concert — for only $45 per person!
See you at The Lake,
SLE
