Violation Camper Returns to SceneOf 'Crime' after 3 Day Hiatus

A motorized camper, permanently parked on the Janes Ave. Rodney Smart property for over two years in violation of Institute rules, left the property late Tuesday afternoon to the relief of the community. The next three days were days of hope that maybe this was step #1 in the elimination of both vehicles parked in violation of rules [Handbook, Chapter 3.1.1 thru 3.1.3]. Hope escaped late Friday afternoon as the camper was driven back unto the Smart property and re-parked. The information has been turned over to the SLI Board of Trustees, which coincidentally meets for their monthly meeting tomorrow morning at the Hoag Art Gallery's first floor meeting room at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3.
