Service for Brad Hennig to be

1964-2017
Brad E. Hennig, age 52, of Silver Lake passed away at home on Sunday June 18, 2017 surrounded by the love of his family. Brad was born in Batavia, New York on October 25, 1964 a son of the late Richard Hennig and Naomi Martin. Brad was a 1982 graduate of Coco High School in Coco, Florida. He was a self employed carpenter.

Brad was a member of the Western New York Gas and Steam Engine Association, Niagara Trail Riders, Silver Lake Historical Preservation Society, Silver Lake Institute where he was a trustee and Silver Lake Pioneer Association. He enjoyed doing carpentry, mechanic, and welding work. Brad also enjoyed restoring vintage motorcycles as well as any type of antique engine. If something was broke Brad enjoyed the challenge to get it working. He volunteered for over 20 years at the Wyoming County Fair in their historical exhibits. He enjoyed riding his motor bike where he would race at Pavilion Motorcross.

He is survived by his wife: Lisa (Shepherd) Hennig whom he married on November 19, 1994, his children: Evan and Evelyn Hennig at home, his mother and father-in-law: Clifton (Lorna) Shepherd of Dansville, 3 sisters: Kay (Ronald) Harmon of South Byron and Silver Lake, Lynn (Craig) Bateman of Silver Lake and Kathie (Daniel) Moyles of Charlotte, NC, a brother: Leigh (Dawn) Hennig of Seattle, WA, a sister-in-law: Melissa (Sheldon) Omans of Dansville along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday June 21st at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. Perry. Services will be held on Thursday June 22nd at 11:00 am at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in West Perry Cemetery in Perry. Memorials may be made to the family.
