| We used to call it "scraping" as we manually scraped off the loose or semi-loose paint as Step 1 to a new paint job. While scraping is still used, professionals have tended to switch over to the Power Wash, using water pressure to force the loose paint off, because it requires considerably less time to accomplish, less effort, less wear and tear on housing materials. |
