Special Guest, Jen Chapin, Addresses Hunger as Part of Social Justice Theme

One of the special guests at the 2017 Silver Lake Experience is Jen Chapin and the Jen Chapin Trio. Jen is the daughter of the famous folk singer, the late Harry Chapin of "Cats in the Cradle" fame. Her trio will perform Friday, August 11, 2017 at 7:30pm. As part of this year's theme of Social Justice, Jen will also lead two workshops on Friday. In one, she will lead a workshop on “The HOWs and WHYs of Hunger: Why now is the time for the Food Justice Movement.” In the other, she will do an interactive workshop, “Music and Social Action: Can a Song Make a Difference?”  More information available at the SLE 2017 website, silverlakeexperience.org.
