New 'Report-a-Concern' Tab Describes How to Publish a Report Either Confidentially or Anonymously

Some folks are hesitant to get involved in the issues of the Institute. Others are more than eager to express all that they believe is wrong with things. Some want others to know who it is that is raising an issue, announcing an idea, or raising a complaint. Others prefer that problems and concerns get taken of without anyone knowing how it came to be or which persons were involved in bringing it to light.

Our latest addition to the Institute and Asbury side of the Lake is a page that describes how a resident, friend or visitor of the East Side of the Lake can report what they believe to be a deficiency, concern, or problem that they observe on the grounds or in and around both the publicly and privately owned buildings on the grounds. Best of all, it can be done by way of a choice of method:

(1) Publicly listing your name in the Comment Section which follows each article, then describing your concern; (2) Clicking the "Anonymous" button in the Comment Section to file a report without the use of your name; (3) Confidentially emailing the Editor/ Publisher about your concern so that if he has questions about the location or description of your concern, he can get back in touch with you for clarification if necessary. Your name and email do NOT get used but remain confidentially with the Editor/Publisher until the issue is resolved.

Look for the "Report-A-Concern" tab in the SLI section of links in the above Menu, or click HERE to go right there now.

  1. People have to report anonymously to avoid retribution from the executive board. We have heard for the last 15 years at the so called board meetings there was never a nay when voting on any issue against the excutive board. That's why the board members are hand-picked. No democracy here.

    1. 15 years - PLUS - every word of the anonymous comment above is true.
Maybe the board should just meet in "executive session", PEROID. No one has a voice except them. They give the residents a chance to speak, what few show up because All know how one-sided it is "we will take that under advisement", is the appeasement received. Good luck all - thank goodness - for a fair and wonderful opportunity to continue still remain "anonymous".
