A senior U.S. official confirms to NBC News that FBI Director James Comey asked the Justice Dept. Saturday to publicly reject President Trump's claim that former President Obama ordered him wiretapped. Such an accusation, if not true, could set the President up for a Defamation suit, although former president's do not traditionally take sitting presidents to court.
