Loren Penman placed the "overnight" temperature on her Facebook, and I decided that it was a colorful way to report the temperature. My black and white model also reports 3F at the 3 am hour here at the northeastern end of Silver Lake. I am assuming Loren's temperature is for Batavia. Ironically, the weather station on the southwestern end of Silver Lake reports a -2 degrees F.
