Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at Perry's United Methodist Church

The First United Methodist Church of Perry NY, 35 Covington Street, corner Short Street, will play host to a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service Saturday evening, December 24, 2016, beginning with a Brass Ensemble at 7:15 p.m. The Service of Lessons and Carols (the spoken and sung story of Jesus' birth) begins at 7:30 p.m. and lasts an hour. Everyone gets a lit candle near the end of the Service and stands in a large circle around the sanctuary/auditorium singing Silent Night, Holy Night with no electric lights, only the candles . . . and then we depart into the Holy Night.
