This Sunday's Hymn Sing at the Dock (weather permitting) will be an occasion for a spiritually uplifting time sitting at the Lakeshore singing the words of our forebears in the faith. It will also be the occasion for our president to gavel the 144th Year at Silver Lake to a close for 2016.

Equally important for this year, it will be the occasion for recognizing and appreciating the long and faithful work of Julie Hoffner at the keyboard as our long suffering accompanist. There will be a very brief ceremony of appreciation just prior to the benediction and gaveling followed by our hot dog fellowship where individuals can express their own unique appreciation for her dedicated work. "Come on out and join the uplifting fun this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at the Blue Dock," announced Chaplain Greg.
