To a large extent, those Memorial Day Picnics, Family Gatherings, Friends Getting Together signals the opening of the Summer Season--particularly when you have an 80+ degree day on which to celebrate it. Of course there is Father's Day and Children's Day upcoming in June, but the next big event that some will see as a kickoff to summer will be July 4th.
