Epworth Committee Sets Season Goals

Additional window fans and reflective shades will be among the improvements for 2016 along with continued use of the basement dehumidifiers and the upgrading and repairing of the remaining windows. Committee members were updated on the roof which has roof tiles curling. It was recommended that running exhaust fans during the heat of the day could lessen further damage to the roof. 

Although the dampness in the basement is being controlled by the dehumidifiers, it was observed that the drain pipes from the roof are in the wrong position for diverting rain water around Epworth instead of the position they are currently in which feeds rain water back into Epworth. We look forward to a solid proposal of diverting water away from the building by our next meeting.

The Committee is working hard at getting the current chairs at Epworth replaced with more comfortable seating. We are looking into the possibility of this being a memorial gift.
