Wednesday was a day of sawing, preparations, and grounding of the second tree to be removed at 3917 Ames Ave. in addition to hauling away large and smaller sections of tree trunk, and general cleanup of the site. A favorite little pine tree was unscathed as the massive hardwood dented the soil with tremendous power.
