With forecasts calling for a Friday night low of 18-20 degrees and a Saturday high of 31 degrees, a few SLI members are expressing a lot of hope that the first monthly meeting of the Season will be held in a very warmed up Shop at 46 Wesley Saturday. Another contributing factor at this point in the forecast is that Saturday is also supposed to be completely cloudy, eliminating any warmth from direct sunlight. The insides of buildings rarely warm up until afternoon hours--if there is sunshine; but the Board meeting is at 10:00 a.m. Let's hope the forecast changes to the 70s for Friday and Saturday . . .
