Slow Day on the RGE Project Wednesday; Project to be Complete by Memorial Day

There will apparently be days that RGE will not be spending much time on the Institute grounds such as on Wednesday, but that does not change the understanding with RGE that the project will be completed by Memorial Day. While the main supply line has been laid the length of Lakeview Avenue, the individual streets and cottages must now be hooked into that new supply line. So far they seem to be doing a good job in using the tunneling equipment which eliminates a significant amount of open digging. The Heritage Walkway was also tunneled under, completely avoiding repair and re-setting of bricks; the new supply line runs under it at the usual depth at which gas supply lines are installed.
