Trustee President Bill Schaefer told this reporter that the meeting scheduled for this Saturday will definitely be held at the SLI Shop which is located at 46 Wesley at Janes right behind the Post Office. This will ensure the relative comfort of resident visitors and board members as they conduct the business of this first meeting of the 2016 Season. (Note that the concrete floors will still be cold.)
The SLI Shop building is the only winterized and heated building owned by the Institute. Some years the weather and temperature warm up quite a bit which makes it possible to meet at the Hoag building. This year's forecast appears to be too cold for meeting in a room without heat. Folks are looking forward to seeing each other after the long winter of 2016--especially after the significant snow that fell during this first weekend of April. [gf]
