Long-Range Planning Committee Announces
Historical Markers Now Available

On warm summer days persons of all ages can be seen participating in a wide range of recreational activities in the park. The park however has a rich historical history and is the area where the Institute began with the holding of camp meetings. The long Range Planning committee has designed three historical plaques to be placed in the park to preserve and celebrate that history. Each plaque has a cost of $1080 and the committee is looking for donations. If a family or an individual would like to make a donation covering the cost of a plaque, the plaque can state "donated by" or "in memory of."
Families or individuals wanting to be credited with placing a marker in honor of someone or in memory of someone may do so by contacting a member of the committee (Bob Cook, Chair; Julie Hoffner, Kathy Schaefer, Nancy Seller, Diane Wetgen, Linda Mairs, and Don Weaver). If you click HERE, you can get a rough and enlarged look at all 3 markers.
